Legendary soprano Dawn Upshaw joins Brentano Quartet for their new project, Dido
Reimagined, sparked by the famous “Dido’s Lament” from Purcell’s opera Dido and
Aeneas. The program features a response to the lament and an array of other selections
from Baroque opera for solo voice and string quartet.
