A Canada Day tradition in the heart of Ottawa!
Celebrate July 1 with a National Arts Centre Orchestra concert hosted by the slam poet, musician, and composer, YAO. Join us for an uplifting afternoon of music spanning over 100 years of Canadian creativity—featuring works by Ian Cusson, John Estacio, Kati Agócs, Jordan Nobles, and Oscar Peterson’s iconic Hymn to Freedom.
Led by Alexander Shelley and guest conductors Benoit Gauthier and Henry Kennedy, the concert also features trumpeter Karen Donnelly, the Hamilton Children’s Choir, double bassist John Geggie, and jazz pianist James Greer.
FREE TICKETS will be available to reserve on Friday, June 27, at 10 AM (online, by phone or in person).
