Immerse yourself in the works of Sandeep Bhagwati! The SMCQ invites internationally renowned pianist Moritz Ernst to perform Music of Crossing, a cycle of 36 pieces, comprising a total of two and a half hours of music, performed over 3 successive evenings. Shaped by the structure of Georges Perec’s novel La Vie mode d’emploi and by his vast artistic involvement (literature, multimedia, theatre), Bhagwati’s work goes beyond its imposed limits to blossom with a unique stylistic, pianistic and sonic diversity. Moritz Ernst’s electrifying virtuosity invites the audience to (re) discover the composer celebrated by the SMCQ this season with a work emblematic of his eclectic repertoire. This concert rounds off three days of unforgettable celebrations and encounters with the piano.
