Il compose ensuite <em>L\u2019Offrande musicale<\/em>, au c\u0153ur de laquelle figure une grande sonate en trio. Cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement aura peut-\u00eatre inspir\u00e9 C.P.E. puisque la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, il reprend plusieurs sonates en trio qu\u2019il avait \u00e9crites \u00e0 dix-sept ans, en collaboration avec son p\u00e8re. Il en propose une version au go\u00fbt du jour, \u00e0 mi-chemin entre l\u2019esth\u00e9tique baroque et le nouveau style galant. L\u2019ensemble montr\u00e9alais <em>Infusion Baroque<\/em> a eu la main heureuse en choisissant ce r\u00e9pertoire s\u00e9duisant, mais encore m\u00e9connu et assez peu endisqu\u00e9 (il faut remonter \u00e0 2003 pour trouver l\u2019int\u00e9grale de ces trios, sur \u00e9tiquette CPO). Une prise de son \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e permet de savourer tous les d\u00e9tails du dialogue souple et \u00e9l\u00e9gant qu\u2019entretiennent le violon, la fl\u00fbte baroque, la fl\u00fbte \u00e0 bec et le violoncelle, accompagn\u00e9s du clavecin. Les quatre musiciennes ont de toute \u00e9vidence d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une grande complicit\u00e9 musicale qui leur permet de capter l\u2019attention sans forcer le trait.
