Ce concert d\u2019ouverture, plac\u00e9 sous le th\u00e8me de la Nature spectaculaire, accueillait un vaste public sous un ciel d\u00e9gag\u00e9. Une nu\u00e9e d\u2019oiseaux, dans une formation en V, s\u2019est jointe \u00e0 l\u2019interpr\u00e9tation de l\u2019air de Gounod, \u00ab Ah L\u00e8ve-toi, soleil!\u2009\u00bb, illustrant un peu plus le ravissement devant le spectacle charmant de la nature. Quoi qu\u2019il en soit, il n\u2019a pas inspir\u00e9 la solidit\u00e9, se r\u00e9fugiant souvent dans une voix de fausset pour \u00e9conomiser ses forces. \u00c7a peut donner de beaux effets dans Gounod,\u00a0mais certainement pas dans Puccini. Si le final de \u00ab Nessun Dorma \u00bb<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">a \u00e9t\u00e9 mieux n\u00e9goci\u00e9 que celui de \u00ab Che Gelida manina \u00bb, il n\u2019en reste pas moins que M. Pati a eu tout le mal \u00e0 canaliser son vibrato.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">L\u2019ouverture de <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Guillaume Tell <\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">de Rossini \u00e9tait la seule autre pi\u00e8ce \u00ab romantique \u00bb du programme.\u00a0Les violons, men\u00e9s par Andrew Wan, ont particuli\u00e8rement brill\u00e9, et ce n\u2019\u00e9tait qu\u2019un d\u00e9but ! Les attaques et la coh\u00e9sion de l\u2019ensemble de la section des cordes a \u00e9t\u00e9 remarquable tout au long de la soir\u00e9e. Photo : Antoine Saito.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">On \u00e9coutait<\/span> <i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Kauyumari <\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">de <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Gabriela Ortiz,<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">le deuxi\u00e8me mouvement de\u00a0la<\/span> <i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Symphonie de la temp\u00eate du verglas<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> de Maxime Goulet, le finale de\u00a0la <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Symponie n<\/span><\/i><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">o<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> 2 de <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Theodor\u00e1kis avec le sourire aux l\u00e8vres. Quand le pianiste Goodwin Friesen s\u2019est joint \u00e0 l\u2019OSM pour cette\u00a0pi\u00e8ce du compositeur grec, l\u2019ambiance est mont\u00e9e d\u2019un cran. On sentait la passion, l\u2019extase de l\u2019artiste n\u00e9 pour faire ce m\u00e9tier. Il \u00e9tait dans son monde, mais il nous donnait qu\u2019une seule envie, c\u2019\u00e9tait de le suivre ! Le public aura la chance de le r\u00e9entendre \u00e0 deux autres concerts, le 16 ao\u00fbt, dans la <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Sinfonietta <\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">de Theodor\u00e1kis, dans une ses propres compositions ainsi que dans le <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Trio n<\/span><\/i><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">o<\/span><\/i><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> 1 <\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">de Chostakovitch.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">La soir\u00e9e de lancement, mercredi,\u00a0s\u2019est achev\u00e9e sur le troisi\u00e8me mouvement de <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">La m<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">er de Debussy, o\u00f9 l\u2019on a bien senti les effets de houle. En rappel, l\u2019OSM a interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 la \u00ab Marche hongroise \u00bb extraite de <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">La Damnation de Faust <\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">de Berlioz, comme un avant-go\u00fbt du concert d\u2019ouverture de saison qui aura lieu les 17 et 18 septembre prochain. L\u00e0 encore, le relief, l\u2019amplitude, qu\u2019arrivent \u00e0 g\u00e9n\u00e9rer les musiciens sous la direction dynamique du maestro est ph\u00e9nom\u00e9nale.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Prochain concert, vendredi 15 ao\u00fbt, \u00e0 la Maison symphonique avec, au programme, <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Les Plan\u00e8tes <\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">de Gustav Holst.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">12<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">e <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00e9dition de la Vir\u00e9e classique.
