N\u2019importe quel musicien aurait du mal \u00e0 rendre audible ce qui est cens\u00e9 \u00eatre repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 visuellement, surtout avec un instrument dont la gamme de textures est aussi limit\u00e9e que le clavecin, mais Knox y parvient avec aisance. L\u2019album commence par des sonates qui sont agr\u00e9ables et joviales malgr\u00e9 leur simplicit\u00e9. Ces sonates ont pour but de pr\u00e9parer l\u2019auditeur \u00e0 l\u2019interpr\u00e9tation dramatique de la Sonate en fa majeur, K.6 du premier disque, dont les fioritures m\u00e9lodiques rapides sont ex\u00e9cut\u00e9es avec une telle pr\u00e9cision que l\u2019auditeur peut imaginer les doigts de Knox glissant sur le clavier.
