Praised for her unique sound, musicality, and incredible versatility, flutist and bansuri player, Lara Wong is a groundbreaking flutist in the world music scene. In 2021, she became the winner of the “Filon” first prize award for best flamenco instrumentalist of the Festival Cante de las Minas, making her the first foreigner to win in any category of the festivals 60 year history, and the first female to win the instrumentalist category.
The Lara Wong Trío is a dynamic encounter of dazzling flamenco guitar riffs, sophisticated percussive soundscapes, mystical bansuri melodies, and colourful flute improvisations.
